Our client, a fund management company is inviting suitably qualified candidates to join their team in Singapore.
Compliance & Finance Analyst
Responsibilities :
Compliance:
- Conduct and review due diligence and KYC on new/existing vendors to ensure compliance with internal guidelines and local legal requirements
- Monitor employees' trading accounts and ensure that all adheres to external and internal controls
- Review development, implementation and revision of company’s policies
- Prepare MAS quarterly and annual forms which is required of CMS license company
- Keep up to date information by attending seminars such as MAS Quarterly Regulatory Updates and AML Training
Finance:
- Assist in preparing management reports & budgeting
- Liaise with internal auditors and fund administrator for yearly audit
- Prepare and review regulatory tax reporting including MAS, IRAS and NFA
- Liaise with external auditors and tax agents for preparation of ECI Statements, Corporate Tax, GST Reporting and Audited Financial Statements
- Assist in fund administration by reconciling fund expenses
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Accountancy, Finance or any relevant discipline
- 2-3 years' relevant experience in Compliance and or Finance in the banking or financial institution
- Effectively bilingual in English & Chinese, ability to communicate is a pre-requisite as the role requires the incumbent to liaise with Chinese clients & colleagues in HQ
- Willing to learn, positive attitude & team player
