Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate / NITEC in Engineering ( Metal Fabrication /Tool & Die/ Welding) or equivalent.
- 3-5 Years welding experience
- Self-starter with strong initiative and able to work with limited supervision.
- Able to work night shift and split shift, and willing to work OT on weekends and public holiday
- Able to speak English and Chinese
Job Descriptions:
- Manual Hard Facing of stabilizers with TC inserts and spray fuse welding method.
- Preparation of stabilizers for hard facing process
- Grinding and finishing of hard faced products
- Manual TIG welding on specialty steels including Non Magnetic steel and Inconel
- Operate automated TIG Welding machines and detect malfunctions or non - conforming conditions and adjust machine controls as required
- Sets up and operates machines on trial run to verify accuracy of machines settings or programmed control data
- Aids in the design and development of production fixturing required for welding processes
- Able to do basic numerical control program to control welding contour -path of parts on TIG welding machine
- Studies blueprints, instructions or sample part to review dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
- Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications, using measuring instruments.
- Inspects and measures parts to maintain quality records
- Maintain all related welding documents as per customer requirements
- Follow the API Spec Q1 requirements as per company requirements
- Observes all necessary safety precautions and works in a manner conducive of promoting continual improvement in safety
- Employee may be asked to perform other duties associated with his /her primary task and/or participate in various continual improvement teams
