Position Title: Transport Coordinator

Job Summary:The Transport Coordinator is responsible for managing the logistics and transportation needs of the company. This role involves coordinating and overseeing the efficient movement of Lorry ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining optimal routes and schedules. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of transportation logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate transportation schedules and routes for the timely delivery
- Monitor and track the movement of goods, ensuring compliance with delivery deadlines.
- Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, and other team members to ensure seamless transportation operations.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to transportation services.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the vehicle fleet, scheduling regular inspections and repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline logistics and improve overall efficiency.
- Analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a transportation or logistics role, preferably as a Transport Coordinator.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and outspoken
- Proficient in using transportation management software and other relevant office applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices.
- Know Singapore route well
Working Conditions:
- May require extended working hours , depending on transportation schedules and deadlines.
- Working constrcution site office -Jurong
