Overview
The Plant Engineer (E&I) ensures that new equipment installations and process modifications are executed according to requirements, upholding equipment application safety standards and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role demands strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage projects efficiently.

- Work Schedule: 5 Days, Monday to Friday / 8:00 A.M. – 4:45 P.M.
- Location: Jurong Island, Singapore
- Company Transportation: Provided from Jurong East MRT and Boon Lay MRT stations
- Remuneration: Up to $4,500 Monthly Base Salary + Annual Wage Supplement (AWS) + Variable Bonuses
Key Responsibilities
- Service and Replacement Scheduling: Plan and schedule regular equipment service and replacement to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analysis for equipment breakdowns to identify underlying issues and implement corrective actions.
- Breakdown Response: Respond promptly to urgent equipment breakdown incidents, ensuring swift resolution to minimize production interruptions.
- SOP Development and Review: Review and develop comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment service, maintenance, and overhaul, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
- Safety Regulations Compliance: Ensure all equipment and processes comply with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Preventive Maintenance and Inspections: Manage the execution of monthly equipment preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and statutory inspections, ensuring all activities meet regulatory standards.
- Contractor Supervision: Supervise contractors to ensure project costs are managed effectively and work is completed to required standards.
- Vendor Performance Audits: Conduct regular performance audits of vendor services to ensure high-quality support and cost-effectiveness.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Possess a high-pressure equipment-related certification (advantageous).
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with a diploma or 3 years with a degree.
- Knowledge of motorized equipment service, troubleshooting, and mechanical applications.
- Ability to read P&ID drawings and carry out hands-on work.
