Our client is one of Singapore’s leading A1 civil contracting firm which has a strong construction portfolio in government and public sector projects. They are looking for a M&E Manager to lead tender activities
Job Description:
- Lead the preparation and submission of mechanical tenders, including reviewing technical specifications, cost estimates, and project timelines.
- Coordinate with the procurement, engineering, and project management teams to gather necessary information and inputs for tender proposals.
- Ensure all tender documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted within specified deadlines.
- Conduct detailed technical evaluations of tender documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Identify potential risks and challenges associated with tender submissions and develop mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to support the decision-making process during tender evaluations.
- Develop accurate cost estimates and budgets for mechanical components of tenders.
- Analyze and compare supplier quotes, material costs, and labor rates to ensure competitive pricing.
- Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Requirements:
- Min Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering recognized by PE Board
- Min 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in main contractor
- Demonstrates strong technical competence and excellent time management skills
