About the Role

The Regional Critical Environments Manager (CEM) is responsible for the development, roll-out, and continuous improvement of mission critical operational processes and the associated operating model. Where appropriate, the CEM also works collaboratively with other regional CEMs on the development of global processes.


The CEM also directly supports our data centers through the development of process-related training, sharing of lessons learned, and periodic on-site reviews.


Main Responsibilities

/ Development, roll-out, and continuous improvement of the Yondr data center operating model and supporting processes:

  • Site mobilization and technical hand-over (partnering with the Regional Technical Manager)
  • Delivery of hard and soft services (Yondr’s Maintain and Operate model)
  • Delivery of project services
  • Delivery of security services (partnering with the Regional Security Manager)

/ Develop / provide training program to support implementation and operations for Yondr and their contractors

/ Develop and implement reviews and audits to ensure consistent implementation of Yondr standards and identification of areas requiring improvement. These reviews will be coordinated with other Yondr teams to ensure efficiency in meeting applicable client service level agreements and QHSE / ISO standards

/ Development of audit scope and schedule for FM provider. Audit will cover all critical processes essential for the continued successful operation of the Data Center

/ Promote “lessons learned” approach, ensuring all information for future use is readily and easily accessible to key stakeholders and is being utilized to improve and innovate

/ Main point of contact for CAFM development

/ Represent, and advocate for the needs of, data center operations teams in the collaborative development of Yondr-wide processes and tools

/ Any other initiatives and efforts within reason requested by applicable Regional Operations VP


Qualifications and experience

/ Engineering or business-related bachelor’s degree (degree requirement can also be met with >10 years of experience in data center operations)

/ Experience with Operations in critical environments > 5 years

/ Good written and oral communication skills: English essential

/ Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
