Job Title: Buyer
Location: Aljunied Road, Mattar MRT
Work Days/Time: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5:30pm
Job Description:Join our dynamic team as a Buyer, where you'll play a vital role in our procurement and purchasing processes within the PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with experience in purchasing and procurement. Depending on your experience, you may be considered for a Senior Buyer position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Management:Support buying activities for Production and Engineering orders.
Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of components, PCBs, electro-mechanical parts, cabling, and mechanical parts.
Handle overseas purchases, including freight arrangements for smooth and timely delivery.
- Supplier Performance:Monitor and review suppliers’ performance to meet quality, delivery, and cost requirements.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
- ISO Support:Provide ISO support within the Material Department, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Education:ITE / Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain Management.
- Experience:Buyer: Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in the PCBA industry.
Senior Buyer: Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in the PCBA industry.
- Skills:Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
