Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Take-off quantities, prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ, drawings and specifications for the calling of quotations)
- Involved in tendering exercise, preparation of tender documents and tender submission, Pre and post tender/contract negotiation.
- Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off.
- Monitor and evaluate work progress and payment claims and variation order claims, this will include contract administration for any variation or change from Main Contracts. final accounts, settlement.
- Involved in respective site, client, meetings.
- Liaise closely with project sites for related claims.
- Attend site meetings to capture all variation claims, preparation of interim valuations and potential variation works
- Finance reporting/update to Finance Department.
- Perform other QS-related duties.
- Filing of variations / evaluate & monitor project variations
- Handle any ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned by the supervisor or management.
- Computer literacy in MS office preferably with basic AUTOCAD drawing
- Meticulous, Independent, Ability to work in a team.
Qualifications
- Only Singaporeans / Permanent Residents need apply.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Building Construction Or Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, construction management, or related field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of work experiences in quantity surveying or cost management, sourcing and procurement in same or similar industry role.
- Able to drive development of organisation-wide Procurement quantity surveying and SOP Act.
- including service agreement / contract reviews of various projects.
- konwledge in Mandrain languages to handle queries and feedbacks to Management.
