As a Senior Crew Executive, you will manage the day-to-day operations and policies regarding the sea-going staff of heavy-lift crane barges and land-based contract staff. You support our organization’s quality, safety, and environmental management system in the process of continuous improvement. In this regard, you assume responsibility and accountability for supporting and coaching any staff under your care.
Your responsibilities as a senior crew executive (includes but are not limited to):
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily crewing functions, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement crewing strategies for recruitment and retention, contract and performance management, disciplinary actions, and all trainings, insurance claims and manage crew budgets.
- Handle crew mobilization and demobilization, including Singapore Work Pass, travel, visas, and accommodations, efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Maintain accurate crew records, ensure timely payroll processing, facilitate logistics for crew changes, and review/approve related invoices for submission to Finance.
- Ensure crew compliance with all regulations necessary for their proper functioning, in accordance with IMO conventions like STCW and MLC, Flag requirements, MPA, ICA, and MOM regulations.
Your qualities
You can make your mark as a senior crew executive:
- A degree or diploma in Maritime Business/Nautical Studies or any related disciplines. A Certificate of Competency will also be considered.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant crewing or ship management experience and a comprehensive knowledge of crewing and manning requirements of Harbor Craft vessels.
- A comprehensive knowledge of Singapore Work Pass rules and processes.
- Experience in dealing with Flag, MPA, ICA and MOM.
- A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office software especially with, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
