You will implement effective go to market model for the Modern Trade and E-Commerce channel; Launch new brands and monitor existing brands sales activity against goals to take appropriate corrective action on timely manner; and Manage distributors, buyers and internal stakeholders to ensure planned activities are rolled out.
Key Job Responsibilities
Commercial
- Achieve sales operational objectives per strategic plans; Review and contribute sales information and recommendation for preparing the Strategic plan.
- Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for channels and areas in support of national objectives together with Customer Business Plans in collaboration with Marketing.
- Meet sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; prepare an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Recommend product lines and responsible for growing market share for company products by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, service changes, and tracking competitors.
Customer
- Maintain and expand customer base, building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
- Directly manage major and critical developing customer accounts and coordinates the management of all other accounts.
- Implement trade promotions along with distributors and retailers by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending.
- Conduct one-on-one review with distributors/ retailers/ customers to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs.
Competition
- Provide timely, accurate, market intelligence to formulate pricing strategy and implement approved pricing structure on all company products, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
Operations
- Provide guidance and cascades company direction into actionable in store activities for merchandising team.
- Other ad hoc duties assigned.
Key Requirements
- At least 5 years of sales experience in FMCG industry, preferably in frozen food, biscuit, bakery categories.
- Have in-depth knowledge of RTM models in the FMCG industry.
- Experience in developing strategies and plans to drive sales.
- Hands on project management skillset and disciplines to manage and drive topline.
- Independent, strong team player, mature, strong analytical and concept crafting skills, good interpersonal and presentation skills
- Positive attitude with entrepreneur way of approach.
- Have eye for details, hands-on and able to multitask and manage multiple projects
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc)
