- Oversee the construction activities, progress, planning, implementing, and monitoring of work schedules in accordance with the master and detailed work programme.
- Study and review construction drawings, coordinate work with consultants and project team to resolve any technical/site issues/discrepancies.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and authorities in resolving site issues. Take actions to deal with the results of delay, bad weather or emergencies at construction site.
- Effectively applies safe and economical methodology enforces project standards
- Attend site daily coordination meeting and inspections.
- Ensuring that the quality control of the project is met.
- Ensure that all the construction safety rules and regulations are being observed.
- Review man-hours and duration forecasts to completion for construction and man-hours Monitor construction productivity and schedule performance and investigate reasons for less than satisfactory performance. Provide recommendations and institute measures for improvement.
Job Specifications
- Recognised Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' construction experience in project/site management in construction industry
- Completed relevant safety courses required by MOM
- Independent, diligent, meticulous and highly motivated with excellent team spirit
