About the Role: As the Data Product Owner, you will be an integral part of AE’s global supply chain function, working closely with a diverse team. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the specific data and analytics needs as the function embarks on its digital transformation journey. As a passionate advocate for data, you will drive data literacy initiatives, mentor internal team members, and lead data product development. The Data Product Owner is expected to work closely with key stakeholders and possesses the hands-on technical skills in data space required for rapid prototyping to bring ideas to life for buy-in and further facilitate co-creation with the Global IT team. This role offers a unique opportunity to deeply understand the supply chain function and to learn and grow in the Supply Chain transformation space, all within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

· Engage with stakeholders, including senior executives and end users, to understand their data product needs.

· Lead discovery and ideation sessions with internal teams to establish the product's value proposition to be developed.

· Translate business needs into detailed technical project objectives and manage their execution by driving end-to-end proof of value initiatives.

· Adapt the product backlog to changing customer and business needs, ensuring alignment with shifting priorities.

· Support and execute rapid prototyping for pilot programs selected by senior executives with supporting data engineers and Data analysts & also demonstrating technical leadership.

· Support cloud initiatives and data asset migration in collaboration with IT and internal teams.

· Coach and lead the data analysts, data scientists, and intern team to build robust data capabilities.

· Drive in-house data and product management literacy programs.

Requirements:

· A minimum of 6+ years of data and analytics field experience, with Manufacturing or Supply Chain exposure, will be a significant plus for the role.

· Five years in a technical project management or delivery management role in Data and Analytics scope.

· Master’s Degree in a STEM subject and experience in a related field, such as programming, statistics, data science, or equivalent experience.

· Experience working with senior business stakeholders and Strong data storytelling skills to create a compelling vision.

· Adapt to changing requirements and priorities and can get things done while overcoming the challenges during the process

· Proven experience with Python & Power BI.

· Experience with UX frameworks and tools like Figma/Miro.

· Experience in project management tools like Jira and Atlas.

· Hands-on experience in Machine Learning, end-to-end Machine Learning operation life cycle, and Natural Language Processing.

· Exposure to graph technologies, advanced analytics algorithms, and tools such as GNN, LSTMs, auto-encoders, LLMs (such as GPT-4), and graph NNs.

· Working experience with Azure DataBricks & Neo4j.

· Familiarity with data engineering, coding pipelines, data platform development, data governance, master data, and metadata management fundamentals.

· Knowledge of SAP and related ecosystems (e.g., SAP BW) is a plus.

· Comfortable with occasional interactions in the American time zone.
