Responsibilities:
- Full Set of Accounts: Perform end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring compliance with local and group accounting standards.
- Internal Controls: Implement and monitor financial and operational policies and procedures.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial and management reports.
- Tax Compliance: Coordinate tax return submissions and work with external consultants.
- Financial Oversight: Review monthly and quarterly financial data, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Team Management: Lead and manage the Finance Team, ensuring smooth operations and timely deliverables.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to prepare and review financial budgets and forecasts.
- Inter-Company Agreements: Monitor accounts payables and receivables related to inter-company transactions.
- Strategic Partnership: Work closely with department heads to align revenue strategies and budgeting.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process efficiencies within finance operations.
- Credit Control: Oversee credit control processes and collaborate with the credit control manager to achieve collection targets.
- Staff Development: Foster growth, alignment, and training for team members.
- Succession Planning: Develop and coach team members for future leadership roles.
- Project Participation: Contribute to new projects, digitization efforts, and service enhancements.
- Quality Focus: Set and monitor departmental quality objectives, ensuring a customer-centric approach.
Requirement
- Min. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including team management.
- Chartered Accountant/ Certified Public Accountant would be an advantage
- In-depth understanding of SFRS(I) requirements and familiarity with financial and management reporting. Experience with SGX-listed companies is a significant advantage.
- Proficient in establishing and maintaining robust internal controls.
