Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise to ensure smooth and optimum plant GMP performance, meeting the highest GMP targets and compliance.
- Responsible for effectively implementing cleaning and sanitization procedures for processing equipment, utensils, and the entire plant environment.
- Develop and execute the sanitation program, striving for continuous improvement by analyzing sanitation performance metrics and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage and supervise the group of plant cleaners, including hiring, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain the plant’s highest GMP compliance and ensure audit readiness.
- Plan, engage, communicate, and provide direction on all sanitation-related activities, including quality, safety, health, employee relations, operations, and maintenance programs.
- Run the master sanitation schedule, assigning work and communicating with sanitation staff and key stakeholders to ensure tasks are completed effectively and on time.
- Organize and participate in GMP inspections, addressing gaps or findings within necessary timeframes.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with site and production procedures related to plant housekeeping, cGMP, quality, safety, occupational hygiene, and environmental protection.
- Ensure availability of resources, materials, and equipment.
- Update sanitation standard operating procedures and verify compliance by front-line employees.
- Create purchase requisitions (PRs) and stage materials as needed in SAP.
Job Requirements:
- Min. Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Min 1year of related work experience, including supervisory experience.
- Experience in food plant sanitation processes.
- Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and a strong commitment to People and Food safety.
- In-depth knowledge and leadership experience in a cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) production environment.
- Ability to handle non-conformances and implement continuous improvement programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with SAP.
- Knowledge of industry-related quality systems, inspection programs, cleaning systems, and chemicals.
- Understanding of sanitation processes, cleaning chemistry, chemical storage, handling and dispensing systems, and sanitary design principles.
- Effective organizational and housekeeping skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Participation in audits and experience presenting topics to auditors would be advantageous.
