Descriptions:

• Drive the development and maintenance of cloud-native platforms, overseeing the end-to-end software development lifecycle, with a close eye on technical architecture, code maturity, performance, resilience, scale, and security
• Oversee technology risk management and cyber hygiene practices
• Lead, mentor, and manage a distributed team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous learning
• Establish and maintain engineering best practices, standards, and methodologies to optimize team performance and efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business, Product, Design, etc) to define project scopes, requirements, and timelines, ensuring alignment with company goals and priorities
• Participate in recruitment efforts to expand and strengthen the engineering team

Key Requirements:

• 7+ years of solid, hands-on experience in architecting, building, and maintaining complex scalable platforms
• Prior experience in building cloud-native platforms from the ground up
• Very strong statistical analysis and problem-solving skills (candidate would be managing a complex credit analytics platform)
• Demonstrated success in project management, delivering complex technical projects within scope, on time, and within budget
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Preferably a prior experience with the following tech stack and infra:

1. Golang, ReactJS, MongoDB/PostgreSQL
2. Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native data-lake & big data architecture
3. Terraform, AWS/GCP

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, managing multiple priorities effectively

Bonus Points:

• Prior experience of working with Fintech or other Tech start-ups.
• Prior experience of working with cloud-native Big Data Analytics platforms.
• Good understanding of DevOps, cyber security and technology risk management practice.
• Good understanding of Finance domain.
