Key Responsibilities
Spearhead the design and development of Android applications that captivate our audience with their interactivity and user-centric design.
Employ the MVVM architectural pattern and Jetpack Compose to ensure our
applications are not only scalable but also maintainable, setting the standard for modern user interfaces.
Be at the forefront of integrating features, pushing the boundaries of how news and content are experienced.
Work hand-in-hand with teams across disciplines to brainstorm, develop, and deploy features that make a difference.
Uphold exemplary standards in software quality by adopting best practices in unit and snapshot testing, ensuring our applications' reliability and consistency.
Keep your finger on the pulse of emerging trends and technologies in Android development and augmented reality, continuously driving our digital offerings to new heights.
Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure alignment and successful delivery across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
Manage and mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
What We're Looking For
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in mobile development.
Proven experience in both early-stage startups and large-scale companies, demonstrating versatility and adaptability.
• Expertise in native Android app development with a mastery of Kotlin and Java, and a thorough understanding of the Android SDK.

Experience in large-scale Android projects with multiple modules and unit testing coverage of at least 70%.
Knowledge of cross-platform frameworks like Flutter.
Strong understanding and application of SOLID principles in software design.
• Proficiency in unit and snapshot testing to ensure high-quality and reliable applications.
Proven ability to develop Proof of Concepts (PoC) to validate ideas and solutions. Proficiency in Firebase for app development.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication and soft skills, essential for thriving in a collaborative and dynamic team, and for effectively engaging with stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have
Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence (ML/AI). Experience in backend API development.
Proficiency in Golang or Python.
