Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage the product backlog, ensuring clear prioritization based on delivery impact and Return on Investment (ROI). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Work closely with business leads to gather detailed requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to finalize User Interface (UI) designs, data requirements, copytext, notification templates, and review error scenarios.
- Partner with the development team to clarify requirements, ensure priorities are well-understood, and provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge as needed.
- Create detailed release plans in collaboration with the Scrum Master, outlining User Acceptance Testing (UAT), testing strategy, coverage, entry and exit criteria, and implementation approaches.
- Oversee sprint activities including sprint grooming, prioritization, refinement, demos, and other related ceremonies.
- Monitor and ensure successful delivery execution, including Quality Assurance (QA) resourcing, quality control, sprint demos, status reporting from velocity to aging tickets, and escalation management as needed.
- Manage the allocated testing budget effectively.
- Provide UAT signoff against agreed exit criteria and track open items.
- Prepare and execute the Go Live plan, including soliciting Live Verification (LV) support, arranging Knowledge Transfer (KT) touchpoints, and ensuring Business as Usual (BAU) support.
- Support Go Live implementation and address post-production issues through troubleshooting and investigation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or any related discipline.
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a Product Owner in the banking or financial industry
- Good understanding of product backlog management, stakeholder engagement, and delivery prioritization.
- Proven track record in creating comprehensive release plans and managing sprint activities.
- Experience in managing testing budgets and providing UAT signoff.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
