Job Description
- Support Singapore sales team and distributors in ASEAN & South Asia region for all HPLC related sales and product lines.
- Conduct regular sales training and educate sales staff so that they are knowledgeable about products, markets and applications.
- Expand HPLC sales in ASEAN & South Asia market by studying the market potential and scope of expansion in each region.
- Strategize and plan promotional activities with the sales team.
- Participate in various technological seminars, conferences and present Shimadzu HPLC solutions and advanced applications.
Educational Qualifications
- Master or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biological Science or related equivalent qualifications.
- Proficiency in Excel for reporting would be an advantage.
Other Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of working experience and practical hands-on laboratory experience on HPLC in any field is essential.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the HPLC technologies and applications, a good understanding of the HPLC business and how to strengthen Shimadzu's position in the market.
- Good understanding of HPLC workflows, customer needs and challenges in the target and emerging markets
- Fluent in English and excellent communication skills are required to communicate with customers, partners and internal team members.
- Strong customer-oriented and sales-oriented attitude is essential.
- Must be willing to travel extensively in ASEAN & South Asia, including India.
