As a Social Worker within the agency, you may be deployed to work with various client groups, including families, elderly, children and youth.

Roles and Responsibilities

The roles & responsibilities of the social worker would include but are not limited to the following:

· Conduct triage and intake services for members of the community.

· Provide casework and counselling interventions for individuals and families.

· Plan and conduct group work to support the needs of beneficiaries.

· Engage in community work to build an ecosystem of assets and resources.

· Engagement and advocate with systems and stakeholders in the community.

· Strategize and coordinate interventions to support beneficiaries.

· Assist with company projects or report submissions.

· Carry out any other duties as assigned by HOD/supervisor.

Candidate Profile

· Bachelor / Postgraduate Diploma / Masters in Social Work.

· Experience in one or more of the following areas:

1. Casework

2. Counselling

3. Risk and crisis management

4. Group work facilitation

· No prior work experience required for new entrants to social work.

· Strong analytical skills with the capability to identify and solve complex problems in a timely, efficient manner.

· Exceptional interpersonal skills that enable seamless collaboration with diverse groups.

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen actively, articulate ideas concisely and collaborate effectively with team members.

· Passionate about uplifting vulnerable individuals and building thriving communities.
