The incumbent will receive comprehensive 12-month exposure and hands-on experience in all HR functions at both local and regional levels, as well as task-based project assignments, with the goal of preparing the incumbent for future leadership as the head of HR & Admin (HRA) at the Indonesia Office. This includes acquiring a foundational understanding of MHI-AP’s business operations, departmental activities, and HR policies. Attend leadership training to assimilate the cultural and managerial ethos of the organization; prepare for the task of redesigning the performance management and reward system at MPW/MHI-IDN and other project assignments.
The ideal candidate will possess strong HR expertise, excellent communication skills, be adept with Indonesian labor laws, and have the ability to handle multiple projects effectively.
Job responsibility
Project Management: Strategic Alignment
- Align Indonesia Group Companies’ (MHI/MPW-IDN) HR strategy with its business plan, ensuring that HR initiatives support and enhance the achievement of organizational goals.
- Proposal on strengthening talent acquisition i.e. recruitment process such as interview process, selection process and salary proposal to attract talents.
Project Management: Learning & Development
- Develop and implement Indonesia specific development training programs for Indonesia group companies, focusing on enhancing employee skills and competencies to drive business growth.
Communciating with internal stakeholders
- Educate &/or advice stakeholders on HR Policies & Procedures, ensure implementation, propose solution to resolve issues/problems normally through presentation, proposals or reports
Communciating with internal stakeholders

Job requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a managerial position
- Good knowledge of Indonesia employment laws, regulations and HR practices
- Proficient in HR Information System and Microsoft Office applications
- Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to stay organized and high attention to detail
- High quality of analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to build effective, productive relationships across the business and work with accountability and integrity.
