We are representing our client in hiring for an Area Sales Manager to expand their team.
Position Overview
This position oversees the sales and operations of the shops and atrium team. A strong background in retail sales, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies is required. This role requires a focus on both managing the shops and ensuring proper merchandising and display of products in the atrium area.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the overall sales performance of the shops and atrium team, including setting sales targets and monitoring progress towards achieving them.
- Develop and implement effective sales plans, activities, and campaigns and manage day-to-day activities of a Sales team in order to implement the company’s strategies to drive revenue growth, strengthen of the brand building, increase customer loyalty, and maximize profitability.
- Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution strategies for area of responsibility.
- Coach and train sales staff to ensure they have the product knowledge and sales techniques necessary to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotions that drive foot traffic and increase sales.
- Maintain an attractive and organized shops and atrium area by ensuring products are displayed effectively and shelves are fully stocked.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitors' activities, and make recommendations to management for staying competitive in the market.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of sales staff and provide feedback, coaching, and support to help them achieve their targets.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a shops and atrium setting
- Strong knowledge of retail sales principles, methods, and techniques
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with individuals at all levels within the company.
- Excellent Leadership and People Management Skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective Sales strategy, effective negotiate and understanding of marketing skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations. Proficient in MS Office suite.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
