Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain the Powercard platform to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and enhancements into the Powercard platform.
- Customize online interfaces client’s ISO-8583 specifications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot platform performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Implement and maintain automated deployment and continuous integration processes.
- Conduct regular security assessments and apply necessary patches and updates to the platform.
- Optimize the platform for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other teams and stakeholders regarding the Powercard platform.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the platform.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a platform engineer or similar role, with a focus on payment systems.
- Strong understanding of the Powercard platform and its architecture.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience with additional applications and frameworks: FileMaker, Eclipse, Spring Boot, CodeIgniter, CodeBlocks, JasperReport
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards in the payments industry.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
