JOB SUMMARY
Carry out Quality Inspections, Prepare Quality Reports, Calibration of Monitoring and Measuring Equipment and ensuring Compliance to QHSE Policies and Procedures at all times.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Ensure incoming and in-process inspections are carried out timely and quality inspection reports are filled up accordingly.
- Ensure timely communication about the defects detected during inspections to the Quality Engineer, QHSE Manager/ MR, Production Supervisor and Production Manager.
- Review quality inspection reports from external providers and perform verification of the results.
- Updating Quality Engineer and QHSE Manager/ MR on the inspection status and update in Navision.
- Follow safe work practices and procedures.
- Ensure company and QHSE policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Ensure that operations within his area of responsibilities are in accordance with the QHSE policy and objectives.
- Ensure that employees are aware of the impact of their activities on the environment.
- Participate/ attend all functions, activities and meeting organized by the company.
- Perform other assignment and duties as and when required.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure the QHSE requirements are effectively maintained and followed.
- Ensure responsiveness to inspection requests and technical support to the team.
- Ensure all plans are met.
- Work with the team to achieve QHSE objectives.
- Maintain good housekeeping at all times.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- NTC / Nitec preferably in Quality or Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
- Preferably 1 years of relevant experience in a Quality Inspector role.
- NDT (MT and PT) Level 2 certificate
- Ability to use and read Monitoring and Measuring Equipment (Vernier, Micrometer, Gauges, CMM machine, etc)
- Interpret and read Engineering Drawings.
- Familiar with ISO and API requirements / standards is preferred.
