Data Integration Analyst

We have won several awards and are leading partners in the region for Oracle NetSuite and Workday Adaptive Planning.


To power the expansion into Southeast Asia, we are looking for a Data Integration Analyst, starting ASAP for Singapore. The ideal candidate will have experience performing data integration, transformation, and APIs, with multiple systems in the areas of Finance or ERPs, and the ability to quickly understand and deconstruct data landscapes in the areas finance, business, and technical concepts.


The candidate is expected will have the required base skills and be able to quickly learn and apply these skills to the Workday Adaptive Planning landscapes. The position is balanced between clients-facing meetings for requirements, solutioning, training, and implementing.


The team is geographically and nationally diverse. Depending on the project scope and size, teams will be formed and will operate under a project manager. The candidate will likely oversee multiple integration workstreams.


Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Work with clients to understand their data landscape and take a consultative approach to help to integrate a variety of source systems to Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Leverage your expertise to recommend the best solution integration solutions based on the client’s requirements, budget, and time frame; with the flexibility to adapt the scope as additional needs are identified.
  • Guide and train the customer to support and maintain the data landscape between their source systems and Workday Adaptive Planning based on best practices and an understanding of the customer’s unique business requirements at all stages of the project.
  • Developing and implementing data flows, APIs between source systems and Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Delivering the acquisition, cleansing, and transformation of data between source systems and Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Identifying opportunities through the production of analysis, comparisons, and benchmarks.
  • Engaging with subject matter experts within the organization to understand data quality and lineage.
  • Understanding and working with colleagues to ensure continued compliance with information governance framework and statute.
  • Undertaking complex analysis of information to ensure consistent and accurate reporting to meet the needs of stakeholders.
  • Creating technical documentation and providing regular data and information updates and ensuring systems code and documentation are inspection ready.
  • Routinely undertaking data-quality checks to a high-level of data accuracy.
  • Regularly engage and support the client through all phases of the project, ensuring a smooth transfer from legacy systems to Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Perform multiple tasks under limited direction, while regularly keeping the client, your project team, and your Engagement Manager abreast of changes or progress related to the project.
  • Assist with sales activities by attending sales calls and perform solution demo as a Workday Adaptive Planning integration subject matter expert.
  • Work with Solutions Architects to review Statements of Work (SOWs) to assure proper scoping, timelines, and resource allocations for integration related work.
  • Actively participate in update training and internal opportunities to share one’s skills and learnings with others within the organization.
  • Maintain cutting-edge knowledge of data landscape and how to enhance product functionality with each new Workday release.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, or Computer Science. Qualifications in Finance, Accounting and/or Business is advantageous.
  • Certifications in cloud systems, data warehousing and solution architecture is highly desirable.
  • Familiar with ETL processes and ability to follow best practices.
  • Experience using scripting languages to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets, especially JavaScript.
  • Strong Excel knowledge and SQL knowledge is essential.
  • Ideally some experience working on FP&A, corporate performance, BI or ERP systems.
  • Experience working with and creating data architectures.
  • Data Warehouse experience with exposure to Big Data.
  • Experience of Data Analysis, Data Quality and Data Lineage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create and sustain a relationship with clients and teams, inspiring confidence in themselves and the delivery team.
  • Self-motivated, passionate about solutioning, self-driven to learning and mastering new technologies.
  • Workday Adaptive Planning Training will be provided to the successful candidate.
  • Min 3 years of experience required for Senior Data Integration Analyst Roles.
