Field Application Engineer(Contract role)
The Field Applications Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, resolving technical issues, developing solutions to meet customer needs, and identifying and developing new business opportunities. As a field application Engineer, you will be responsible for a range of tasks related to the implementation, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software systems
Job scope:
- On-site Implementation: Conduct site surveys, mark and label areas, and install necessary shelves for equipment placement.
- Equipment Installation: Unpack and install equipment, perform equipment debugging, and conduct product testing.
- Deployment and Integration: Deploy software components, conduct system integration, and liaise with customers to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Project Delivery: Participate in project management and risk assessment, report and troubleshoot issues, and facilitate the final delivery and acceptance of projects.
- Post-sale Maintenance: Perform preliminary troubleshooting and feedback for hardware and software issues, diagnose and resolve problems.
- Maintenance Services: Replace spare parts, conduct inspections and maintenance, track and report issues, and provide service feedback.
- Any Other Ad hoc projects
Qualification & qualities:
- Bachelor or higher degree in computer software, electronic communication, automation, or other related fields.
- Experiences in software, testing, automation or robotics would be a plus
- Highly motivated self-starter, able to work independently under pressure
- Candidates who can start immediately or with short notice is a plus
Salary Ranges from $5500-$7000
