Responsibilities
- To be responsible for implementing Management of Change (MOC) as required by the client.
- To define the specific activities taking into consideration the Master Maintenance Schedule, as well as labour, material and OEM/Specialists requirement.
- To demonstrate a high level of skill in planning Oil & Gas industry, in terms of engineering, procurement, construction and project management modification and maintenance projects using computer-based planning and scheduling techniques.
- To prepare Level 2 Project Schedule to serve as a basis and guide by sub-contractors in making Level 4 detailed work schedule.
- To check the planning package submittal by the sub-contractor and recommend the management for its approval as the project/maintenancebaseline.
- To review actual daily progress submittal by the sub-contractors which include the Actual progress S-Curve & Manpower Histogram, to ensure alignment with approved baseline.
- To plan and forecast work schedule of weekly and monthly work and set productivity to be achieved.
- To maintain baseline schedule, and update current schedule periodically and analyse the effect of any proposed changes and any additional activities in the project, using Primavera P6 software or any other planning/scheduling software.
- To update the management on any schedule variances.
- To monitor project/maintenanceschedule and progress.
- To submit periodic progress report to the Management, including but not limited to the overall accumulated progress, earned values and look-ahead schedule.
- To prepare progress analysis explaining “cause and effect” of variances incurred in the project.
- To take periodic walk around at the project site to verify actual work progress and take progress photos for recording and presentation to the Management.
- To initiate and undertake action(s) to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities.
Requirements
- Preferably Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of Project Planning experience in Oil/Gas and Petrochemical Industries preferred
- Demonstrate Primavera Project Planning software of P6 operating expertise.
- Ability to apply Critical Path Method planning techniques to develop detailed Engineering and Installation Project networks and schedules.
