Assistant Warehouse Supervisor

Salary: $2500 -$3000
Job scope:
- Responsible for picking, packing (wooden cases, pallets, wrapping and strapping functions) ensuring contents are packed safely for forklift movement and transport. Arranging goods in proper and systematic manner at designated places.
- Responsible for operating forklift to load and unload goods for shipment and comply with safety measures
- Liaise with sales/operation staff on incoming forwarder schedule and timely clearance of the goods inside the cases/boxes
- Assists supervisor on the day to day running of warehouse storage, receiving and outgoing operations
- Assists supervisor to supervise storekeepers, ensuring safety, timely and efficient work is done
- Assists to delegate work to storekeepers ensuring balance work load in each individual
- Assists to proposing workflow implementation to reduce time wastages in the warehouse
- Assists to identify work hazards and exercise corrective measures
- Assist in liaising with Admin staff to ensure that the warehouse equipment eg. forklift, stacker etc is periodically maintained
- Assists in ensuring adequate packing materials are maintained
- Responsible for the accuracy of the inventory assigned, and assists to identify or resolve any discrepancies
- Assists in keeping the warehouse working environment clean and safe by following and enforcing standards and procedures.
- Participate in yearly stock take
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time
Requirements：
- Minimum 2 years working experience in similar position
- Knowledge on warehouse operations
- Knowledge to operate Industrial Carousel storage system an advantage
- Certified forklift driver (3 tons & above) an advantage
- Able to lift heavy goods (around 7 to 10kg per carton box) when needed.
