Job Description:
- Prepare workstations at the start of processing & clean and reinstate workstations after processing.
- Handle frozen/chilled fish/seafood processing by types of equipment with various components including processing (cutting, trimming, deboning & deskinning etc), packing (vacuum packing & strapping etc ) and storing of products.
- Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.
- Ensure that all food hygiene and safety standards are met and keep up to date with industry standards.
- Perform other food manufacturing duties assigned by the supervisor, as needed.
Requirement:
- Able to work in a cold environment, comfortable with repetitive work activities, working in accordance with schedules, operating machinery and working with cold materials.
- Training will be provided to applicants with little to no experience in operating processing types of equipment.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift heavy items.
- Responsible, punctual, good working attitude, good team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Applicants with WSQ certification in basic food hygiene, and familiar with food handling and handling process in fish have added advantages.
- Applicants must be willing to work OT duties, including weekends and public holidays, when required due to the nature of the job.
