Title: Cybersecurity Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor security systems and networks for potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Analyze security alerts and determine their impact on the organization.
- Investigate security incidents and breaches, and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and implement security monitoring tools and protocols to enhance threat detection capabilities.
- Design, implement, and maintain security architectures and solutions to protect sensitive information.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into system designs.
- Perform security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.
- Recommend and deploy security enhancements based on assessment results and threat intelligence.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts, including communication, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.
- Conduct post-incident analysis to identify lessons learned and improve future response strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Security Monitoring Analyst and Security Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
- Proficiency with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection).
- Experience with network security, application security, and cloud security.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC) are highly desirable.
