Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Webex Event Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in video conferencing, specifically with Webex, and will be responsible for supporting Webex events, troubleshooting technical issues, managing Technical Assistance Center (TAC) interactions, performing daily system health checks, and handling business-as-usual (BAU) activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Webex Events:Provide comprehensive support for Webex events, including setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting during live sessions.
Assist users in planning and executing Webex events to ensure a seamless experience.
- Troubleshooting:Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Webex events and video conferencing systems.
Provide timely and effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing events.
- Handle TAC:Act as the primary point of contact for Technical Assistance Center (TAC) issues.
Escalate complex problems to TAC and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Perform Daily System Health Checks:Conduct daily health checks of Webex and related video conferencing systems to ensure optimal performance.
Identify and address any potential issues before they impact users.
- Business-As-Usual (BAU) Activities:Manage day-to-day operations related to Webex and video conferencing systems.
Ensure all systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in supporting Webex events and video conferencing solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly.
- Experience with Technical Assistance Center (TAC) processes and procedures.
- Ability to perform daily system health checks and maintain system integrity.
- Familiarity with video conferencing hardware and software solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Webex or other video conferencing platforms.
- Experience with other video conferencing solutions such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet.
