Job brief
We are seeking a Customer Account Manager to maintain and nurture relationships with our valued clients. You will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, addressing their needs and ensuring they receive exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and objectives.
- Actively manage the resolution of customer issues and concerns in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services.
- Monitor account performance and prepare regular reports on account status.
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
- Conduct regular business reviews with customers to ensure expectations are met.
- Travel to visit clients and attend meeting as required.
Requirements
- Diploma/Adv-Dip/ Degree or equivalent
- Min. 3 years work experience in sales management; FMCG industry will be an added advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation
- Strong Leadership, Team-player, Result-Oriented and Customer-Focus
- Knowledge of principles and practices of sales
- Knowledge of basic business principles
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets
