We’re looking to add a Test Engineer in Singapore. The position will be based in our HQ in Ang Mo Kio.
As a Test Engineer, you will:
Responsible for conducting various tests on products to ensure optimal test coverage that meets customer and product specifications. Duties include analyzing top defects, improving test yields, approving first articles, managing ECN changes, calibrating equipment, and maintaining/updating test procedure documentation.
The key responsibilities are as below:
- Develop testing strategies, workflows, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective production operations.
- Perform test capacity planning to maximize tester utilization and ensure adequate capacity.
- Continuously improve test yield through CIP/RMA activities.
- Generate, update, review, and maintain the Venture Standard Operating Procedures.
- Lead a team of Test Engineering Assistants/Technicians, ensuring compliance with quality standards, company guidelines, and procedures while providing necessary production support.
- Validate and maintain test equipment, ensuring it is in good condition and keeping an updated master list of test equipment to ensure the latest revisions are implemented in production.
- Review and evaluate first article samples before submitting them to customers (if applicable).
- Participate in product transfer activities and provide NPI support.
- Generate and validate test reports before publication.
- Maintain minimum debug WIP by improving test yields and managing resources effectively.
- Liaise with customers on product-related issues to drive improvements for both NPI and existing products.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance test efficiencies and coverage to achieve top-quality results at minimal cost.
- Participate in cost-saving measures and LEAN initiatives.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the company.
What skills and experiences are we looking for?
- Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and/or equivalent field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a competitive product manufacturing environment.
- Team player with good written and verbal communication skills.
