Job Description:
- Ensuring Compliance with Regulatory Standards
- Ensure all mechanical equipment and systems comply with FDA, cGMP, and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for regulatory audits and inspections.
- Conducting Risk-Based Inspections
- Develop and implement risk-based inspection (RBI) programs to prioritize inspection activities based on equipment criticality and risk levels.
- Perform regular inspections and assessments of mechanical systems to identify potential risks and ensure operational reliability.
- Preventive and Predictive Maintenance
- Design and manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of mechanical systems.
- Utilize predictive maintenance techniques, such as vibration analysis and thermography, to detect early signs of equipment failure.
- Failure Analysis and Root Cause Analysis
- Conduct detailed failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure points and develop mitigation strategies.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on mechanical failures to determine underlying causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Reliability Centered Maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct reliability-centered maintenance study.
- Facilitate the successful implementation of reliability-centered maintenance actions.
- Technical Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, including inspection findings, maintenance activities, and failure analysis results.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all mechanical integrity activities for internal and external audits.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability and efficiency of mechanical systems. Implement best practices and industry standards to ensure the highest level of mechanical integrity.
- Team Collaboration and Leadership
- Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and maintenance personnel.
- Safety and Compliance
- Ensure all mechanical integrity activities adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent unforeseen incidents.
- Participate in the development and implementation of safety programs and initiatives.
- Asset Management
- Develop and implement strategies for the effective management of mechanical assets to maximize their value and performance.
- Apply risk-based methodologies to prioritize asset management activities based on the criticality and risk associated with each asset.
- Budgeting and Cost Control
- Develop and manage budgets for mechanical integrity activities, including maintenance and inspection programs.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to control and reduce maintenance expenditures
Job Requirements: Min Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar w min 3-5 yrs of relevant experience in pharmaceutical/ biological/ chemical/ oil & gas industries
