Job Description: Director Of Information Security
We’re looking for a Director of Information Security to join our team. You will be responsible for implementing the organization's Information Security (InfoSec) solutions and development of security frameworks, policies and controls. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure security of IT systems, data and compliance within financial and security standards.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement comprehensive information security strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Setup and lead the information security team, fostering a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement.
- Build SOC operation in regional basis
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards such as PCI DSS and central bank regulations. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that impact fintech operations.
- Design information security architecture to ensure highly secure and highly available systems
- Develop and implement security incident response plans. Lead the response to security incidents, including investigation, remediation, and communication
- Utilize threat intelligence to proactively identify and mitigate potential security threats.
- Ensure that security is integrated into the design and architecture of fintech products and services from the ground up
- Establish and maintain a information security governance framework to ensure ongoing security compliance and risk management across the organization
- Develop key security processes such as managing company assets, cloud infrastructure, secure development, and vendor assessments
- Plan for and allocate resources, including personnel, technology, and tools, to address security needs effectively, including overall budgeting
- Lead IT management as part of the organization functional scope
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, Cybersecurity, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are a plus.
- Proven experience in Information Security, vast experience in cybersecurity, with managerial experiences
- 8-10 years of related work experience and information security experience preferred
- Desirable to have worked in a finance or FinTech industry
- Knowledge of the financial industry, including relevant regulations and compliance requirements such as PCI DSS
