GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Voice Network Administrator will be responsible for the general production operations, detection and repair of voice infrastructure. Is expected to use Voice Administration skills to demonstrate proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting voice networks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.


KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION

Voice Network Administrator

  • The Voice Network Administrator will be responsible for administering production phone requests including but not limited to phone set-ups. Having an experience with Trader phone system is an added advantage.
  • This role requires a proven track record of successfully delivering and maintaining Cisco Telephony system.
  • The selected candidate is also expected to administer and manage the Voice Recording system used by the region. This includes making sure of the uptime and availability of the system.

  • Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations


SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

Professional and Technical

  • Familiarity in managing, administering Cisco Unified Call manager (preferably v10 and above) and the different stacks :
  1. Cisco gateway, SBC, SIP, MGCP, analog gateway
  2. PSTN connection: SIP, E1/T1, BRI, POTS line
  3. Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (IPCC, CVP, CUIC, WIM)
  4. FAX, attendant, voicemail, DECT telephony
  • Experience in managing Collaboration tool such as Webex
  • Adept with Call Attendant solutions and troubleshooting
  • Experience in Monitoring tool (Cisco prime LMS, Tivoli,...)
  • Know-how of managing and administering Verba Voice Recording Systems is highly advantageous
  • Experience with Trader phone system such as BT IPTrade or IPC Unigy is beneficial


Additional Preferred Skill Requirements:

  • Able to work effectively in diverse environments with troubleshooting skills including areas such as Storage, OS, patches, and networking
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, where use of and building multiple skill sets concurrently is required
  • Exceptional intrapersonal and verbal/written communication skills


Personal and Social

  • Individually capable, while able to work successfully as a team player in a team-oriented environment on a daily basis
  • Experienced working in a multi-cultural environment
  • Can work under pressure and extended time in order to achieve the common goal
