Roles and Responsibilities
· Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views and triggers to be used during the ETL process.
· Design and develop SSIS / SQL ETL solutions to acquire and prepare data from numerous upstream systems for processing.
· Build data transformations with SSIS including importing data from files, moving data from one database platform to another.
· Design, implement, maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes) and database security.
· Debug and tune SSIS to ensure accurate and efficient movement of data.
· Analyze and develop strategies and approaches to import and transfer data between source, staging, and ODS/Data Warehouse destinations.
· Test and prepare ETL processes for deployment to production and non-production environments.
· Support system and acceptance testing including the development or refinement of test plans.
Requirements
· Bachelor or Masters in Information Technology, Computer Science, Banking and Finance or equivalent.
· Minimum 2 years of working experience in SSIS, SSRS and SQL Server development.
. Minimum 1 year of working experience in C#.NET development.
· Proficient in SQL server development such as constructing complex stored procedures, user defined functions, etc.
· Familiar with SQL Server installation and configuration, analyzation and fine-tuning of SQL Query performances.
· Familiar with SDLC processes, gathering of business requirements, functional review and feasibility studies.
· Familiar with database management systems, online analytical processing and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
· Strong problem solving and communication skills.
· Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
