Job Description:
1. Managing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse crew members by leading teams of warehouse crew and/or retail staff in daily essential activities and specific projects to maintain the physical environment of the warehouse showroom.
2. Oversee all warehouse activities, including the receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping of goods.
3. Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers and suppliers.
4. Monitor inventory levels and implement appropriate strategies to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
5. Ensuring the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, by supervising and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
6. Overseeing daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
7. Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
8. Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and standard operating procedures.
9. Maintain a safe working environment and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
10. Work with other departments, such as Sales and Customer Service, to resolve any issues related to order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
11. Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
12. Prepare reports and provide data to management regarding warehouse activities and performance.
Job Requirements:
1. At least Bachelor's degree in any field.
2. At least 2 years of Warehouse Operations experience.
3. Excellent leadership and people skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team.
4. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
6. Know health and safety regulations and are committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the job.
8. Physical strength and the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.
9. Familiar with the routes in Singapore and adept at planning delivery routes for drivers is a significant advantage.
