China Gas International Pte Ltd is the international trading center established by China Gas Holdings Limited in Singapore, in charge of the international trading of mainly LNG and LPG, with the potential to expand to other energy and chemical commodities.
Overview Of Role
Being part of our operation team at the Singapore office, the operator is responsible for executing the company's LPG and LNG trade orders. This includes ensuring timely transactions, accurate contract execution and delivery, at the same time optimizing based on market conditions and trading strategies. Additionally, the role involves monitoring market movement, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies for all the trade orders. This position requires solid experience in foreign trade, and familiarity with the petrochemical industry and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Trade Execution - Oversee the company's LPG and LNG trade execution, including managing the entire process of international re-export transactions, import procurement, and collaboration with the China team on executing paper trades. Ensure the accurate fulfillment and delivery of trade contracts.
- Document Management - Manage trade-related documents and processes, including contract confirmation, settlement, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness throughout. Organize and archive all documents systematically.
- Relationship Management - In charge of the registration and credit approval process for suppliers and customers. Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve any issues or disputes that arise during the trade process, while maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with external stakeholders.
- Risk Management - Monitor market movements and adjust trading strategies promptly to maximize profits and minimize risks.
- Compliance Management - Compile and maintain transaction records and reports to ensure compliance and transparency in all trading activities
- Team Collaboration - Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics and finance, to ensure that trade tasks are well-coordinated.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience in foreign trade and more than 2 years experience in foreign trade management.
- Familiar with the petrochemical industry and logistics operations.
- Proficient in using trade software and tools.
Skills and Attributes
- Bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized university.
- Experienced in commodities international trading operations.
- Excellent execution and coordination skills.
- Effective multi-tasking.
- Possess leadership and teamwork.
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills in English.
- Candidates with relevant experience in the LPG and LNG industry are preferred.
- Candidates with Mandarin speaking and writing skills are preferred.
