Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the talent acquisition section which supports the recruitment lifecycle from resource planning to job posting, resume screening, onboarding, off-boarding formalities, staff orientation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee’s records and ensure required personal documents are in place.
- Coordinate with relevant business units on manpower movement, contract renewal, confirmation, transfer, promotion, re-employment, resignation, etc along with respective administration.
- Support day-to-day HR tasks and activities, including handle HR-related queries and reporting, daily walkabout and employee data management.
- Address and resolve employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues in a fair and timely manner.
- Participate in HR-related process improvement projects, events, functions and initiatives.
- Review and enhance polices and processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant with labour laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional team to facilitate payroll processing.
- Prepare and submit required reports.
- Perform secretariat role in the monthly risk assessment/workplace safety and health meetings with all Heads of Department.
- Support any other ad-hoc projects or tasks as may be required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resource Management/Business Studies/ Administration/Management or equivalent
- At least 8 years of working experience in HR and administrative roles.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labour laws, and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Able to work in a dynamic environment, adaptable to changes and can multitask
