The successful incumbent will play an integral role within Non-Equities Operations, focusing on the assigned projects as the primary function and BAU activities as the secondary functions.


Job Responsibilities


In the primary role, the incumbent shall be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to contribute to the successful build-up of the in-house or vendor developed systems to cater for CFD Operations and for other non-equities products.

As a secondary role, to be involved in the running of the BAU operations for Non-Equities Operations.


To thrive and be successful in this role, you must have relevant product knowledge and experience in:

  • Contract-For-Difference (CFD) products (underlying assets in Equities, Futures, Indices, Commodities, FX, bitcoin) and their settlement processes. Familiar with Prime Brokers arrangements, resets, swaps, corporate action events processing and applicable tax rate, etc relating to back-office processing.
  • Forex & NDF products and netting settlement processes, with understanding on the concepts of liquidity providers, spreads and FX rolls/ swaps
  • Reconciliation process logic
  • Margin funding, mark-to-market valuation, initial margining, interest computation logic
  • Regulation reporting requirement such as OTC Derivative Contract Reporting


Job Requirements

  • Min. degree or its equivalent qualifications with 7 years relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of operational process logic flows
  • Keen attention to details, data integrity and strong ownership/ accountability mindset and excellent organizational skills
  • Analytical mind to diagnose issues and ability to liaise with IT vendor/ in-house IT team for solution is paramount.
  • High sense of urgency and dedication to efficiency with process transformation mindset
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
