RESPONSIBILITIES

The Lead Delivery Manager shall oversee and ensure the strategic alignment, efficient execution, and successful lifecycle management of IT projects and products within NVPC.

This role contributes by driving IT governance, aligning digital initiatives with strategic objectives, optimizing resource utilisation, and fostering Agile practices to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness, hence, supporting NVPC in meeting its IT strategy and broader organizational goals.

Responsibilities

Strategic Oversight

  • Help define and implement IT governance and management framework for NVPC IT projects.
  • Help develop IT Strategy and Masterplan for NVPC
  • Develop and maintain a high-level overview of all digital projects within the portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and efficient resource utilisation

Product Lifecyle Management

  • Focus on the end-to-end management of product lifecycles, including planning, development, deployment and continuous improvement
  • Ensure the products meet business requirements and user needs, collaborating with Business Analysts and stakeholders
  • Plan and participate in product conceptualisation sessions with stakeholders
  • Identify dependencies in products and services, and coordinate delivery

Agile Practices Lead

  • Coach and lead teams in Agile practices
  • Create or tailor new ways of working, and constantly innovate
  • Identify issues through Agile health checks' with the team, and help to stimulate the right responses

Stakeholder Communication and Reporting

  • Prepare strategic reports and presentations on project and product outcomes, risks, and opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in project management or delivery management, with a track record of leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, along with familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage stakeholders and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Customer-oriented with a focus on delivering value to the business, coupled with strategic thinking abilities to align project goals with organizational objectives.
  • Knowledge of IT governance frameworks and experience in developing IT strategies aligned with organizational goals.
