Job Description:
- Support users in Singapore, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, Japan, India and Taiwan and other locations which may requires communication in local dialects and languages other than English.
- Windows (10 onward), MS Office (2016 onward), SQL Server 2012 onward, Macintosh OSes, Linux OSes and other open-source applications, installation, patching and troubleshooting experience.
- Microsoft 365 and Windows Azure administration for mail, MS Office, Skype, VM and storage.
- Troubleshoot MYOB, SAP, SQL Server, WordPress, HRMS, Microsoft Report Builder, MS Access, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and CRM.
- CISCO, Fortinet, Rukus, HP, Dell, Lenovo, iOS and Android devices handling (hardware & software)
- Manage server storage, SAN, NAS, DAS and others for capacity, backup, archive, and audit.
- Scripting, coding, and macro programming, DOS Batch commands, visual basic, VBA, C, SQL, etc.
- Cybersecurity conscious with ability to manage security incident and IT events calmly and quickly.
- Automation from point to point for efficiency and productivity using quick development and connectivity tools such as MS Access, ODBC, PowerApps, etc.
- Standardize systems setup with images, use of VMs for VDI, and data encryption/protection.
- Forensic and eDiscovery for root cause analysis, and security investigation.
- The company belief in Work Live Balance but there is a need to be on standby during off hours and holidays for countries that are not having a holiday.
- The company has no work from home or work remotely arrangement at this point.
- Ready to take on new IT challenges that is outside of this JD.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT related discipline preferable with subject covering coding, database design, security, forensics, process engineering, content management, e-commerce.
- Experience is preferred over certification although IT related Certifications in Azure, CISA, MCSE, etc. are advantages.
- 3 to 4 years of work experience, technically IT Hardware and Software inclined to make system integrate across hardware, systems, and platform.
- Highly curious techie who is creative in identifying problems and resolving strange issues.
- Ability to work under pressure when challenged by difficult users, senior and top management.
- Always maintain a high standard of conduct and service level for all users of different ages, computer literacy and background.
- Never give up and a can-do attitude to take on multiple tasks at any one time.
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, VMWare, Hyper-V, VirtualBox, Windows Servers, SQL Server, Windows Application servers, Windows Backup Server, MYOB, etc.
- Candidates are expected to do PowerPoint presentations in English and Mandarin from time to time during training and routing updates.
- Ability to collaborate using cloud-based applications such as Microsoft 365.
Candidates must answer technical questions and provide technical solutions to case studies.
