The Footwear Materials Centre of Excellence Coordinator is to support the Global Material Management (GMM) department with various projects stretching across different functions from operations, vendor management and systems and processes. Many of the projects relate to the implementation of sourcing strategies, procurement tactics, vendor management, sustainability, supplier and material engagement, cost management and improving analytics and reporting. Together with the global GMM Team, you will determine specific needs and areas of improvement for the department to work on.
Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Run business improvement projects
- Stakeholder and change management within the scope of the project and its outcomes
- Handling admin tasks related to the projects
Internal and external opportunity mapping
- Gain in depth knowledge of our sourcing and procurement teams and propose ideas
- Re-evaluate category and supplier setups to future-proof the business
Analytical approach
- Find and report the right KPIs which will help us make informed business decisions
- Usage of PowerBI / similar reporting tools to interpret data and extract scalable conclusions
Administrative tasks
- Based on departmental needs
Requirements:
- Candidate should process at least a Degree in Business/Economics or Supply Chain Management (Sourcing/Procurement)
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience in MNC settings
- Experience with global project management
- Direct experience in handling and analysing massive data
- Experience in the footwear industry is a plus
