As a Member Onboarding Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless transition to onboard new members while manintaing the integrity of the SGX's systems. You will lead the team to support new and existing members in the development of their solutions complying with SGX's specifications.
Key Responsibilities will include:
New Member Integration
- Collaborate with new members to set up network and API connections
- Guide new members through development and testing of solutions aligned with SGX specifications
- Support conformance testing to certifiy their solutions for production deployment
Existing Member Solutions
- Oversee the development, testing and re-certification of existing members' solutions during system upgrades
- Ensure smooth transitions during enhancement of trading, clearing and GIFT systems
Member-related Test Activities
- Work closely with SGX application and business teams to plan and execute member-related test activities
- Assess readiness for product or service releases
Internal Testing and Quality Assurance
- Execute internal bugs/defects testing upon requests from production teams
- Maintain and enhance automated testing scripts critical for member certification
Qualifications will include
Technical Proficiency
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology/Computer Science with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in testing.
- Solid understanding of systems and API specifications used in SGX’s trading, clearing, and GIFT systems.
- Familiarity with network setup, APIs, and conformance testing.
Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and developers.
