We are seeking a highly skilled ATE Test Manager to oversee and manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems for our products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test engineering, a strong background in electronics, and proven leadership skills to lead a team of test engineers and technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Management:
· Lead and manage a team of test engineers and technicians.
· Develop and implement ATE strategies and roadmaps.
· Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and goals.
· Provide mentorship and training to team members.
2. ATE Development and Implementation:
· Design, develop, and validate ATE systems for new and existing products.
· Ensure the ATE systems meet all technical specifications and requirements.
· Oversee the integration of hardware and software components in the ATE systems.
· Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure seamless implementation.
3. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
· Develop and enforce test procedures and protocols to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
· Conduct regular reviews and audits of test processes to identify areas for improvement.
· Ensure all testing activities adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
4. Project Management:
· Manage multiple ATE projects simultaneously, from conception to completion.
· Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
· Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
· Communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management.
5. Continuous Improvement:
· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of ATE systems.
· Stay current with advancements in ATE technology and industry trends.
· Evaluate and integrate new tools and techniques to improve testing capabilities.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
· 7+ years of experience in test engineering, with a focus on ATE systems.
· 3+ years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
· Strong understanding of electronics, hardware, and software development.
· Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in ATE (e.g., C/C++, LabVIEW, Python).
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
· Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to ATE.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with specific ATE platforms and tools used by the company.
· Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
· Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Working Conditions:
· This position may require occasional travel to other company sites or vendor locations.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
