Job Responsibiility:
- Perform the statutory roles of WSHO/FSM
- Deploy workplace safety and health (WSH) programme
- Drive WSH training and WSH related skill development for all stakeholders
- Schedule and conduct emergency evacuation drills
- Gather evidence and conduct interviews for incident and accident reports
- Plan and conduct operational discipline assessment
- Prepare and submit application and renew petroleum and flammable material license for 22TK
- Prepare and submit application and renew bizSAFE STAR and bizSAFE PARTNER certification for Natsteel Holdings and Natsteel Recycling
- Schedule and conduct internal audit for ISO 45001 & ISO14001 certification
- Plan and conduct noise monitoring and submit noise monitoring report to MOM
- Plan and schedule industrial hygiene monitoring assessment
- Implementation and monitor compliance with accordance to organisation's WSH management system, policy and procedures.
- Identify resources required for WSH management and work within allotted resource
- Drive development of risk management (RM) plans and strategies for work processes and work areas
- Partner with leaders to demonstrate WSH leadership as role models to workers and priorities WSH in relation to other operational priorities
- Maintain legal compliance register and update management on regulatory changes
- Single point of contact with regulatory authorities i.e. MOM, NEA, SCDF
Security Function:
- Manage day-to-day physical security operations of company, but not limited to access control system, CCTV system, security officer management, standard operating procedures (SOP), security audits & incident management, Security policies.
- Engagement of security contractors to review existing procedures and to implement new initiatives to improve the overall physical security standards of the company.
Educational Qualifications:
- Registered WSHO Cum FSM
- Degree in Engineering or safety-related fields
Relevant Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in managing ESH management systems in a heavy industry environment
