About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Support Executive to join our team. This role will provide advanced support to the sales team, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will act as a pivotal link between various departments, manage customer inquiries, and contribute to the achievement of sales targets.
What you will be doing
- Sales Support Coordination: Assist sales representatives in preparing quotations, proposals, and presentations. Ensure all SOPs are updated and communicated to the relevant customers. Follow-up quotation requests from customers and track conversion success. Identify process improvement opportunities and work with Sales manager to implement them.
- Business Implementation: Participate in new or adjusted projects’ implementation, following-up with internal and external stakeholders on milestones and targets to achieve. Proactively share innovative ideas to improve current processes in place and mapping opportunities to achieve success.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and update customer information in the CRM system. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Escalate topics to Sales Manager to remove blockers and update the customers accordingly.
- Order Processing: Oversee the order processing cycle from receipt of the order to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and customer requirements. Work closely with Operations to understand bottlenecks and propose short and long-term fixes.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate weekly/monthly sales reports and analytics to track performance metrics. Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales processes. Understand the customers’ needs in terms of reporting and align with IT teams to tailor the solution.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the operations, finance, IT and logistics teams to ensure coordinated efforts in meeting customer needs and achieving sales objectives.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and support the sales team in strategic planning. Share market updates and news with the relevant customers.
The successful candidate
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales support, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and customer service principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
