Project Engineer - Oil and Gas

Summary:

The Project Engineer is responsible for providing general direction towards the successful completion of a project, ensuring all disciplines follow the quality standards set by the company. The role involves identifying critical aspects of project execution and addressing them before they manifest as problems, as well as verifying and managing man-hour consumption of different disciplines during project execution.

The Role:

• Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate the technical aspects of projects.
• Maintain regular contact with assigned project clients to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Participate in client meetings and resolve project issues.
• Ensure projects align with strategies and objectives through various phases, including feasibility studies, FEED, detailed design, construction, commissioning, start-up, and handover.
• Ensure projects meet safety, cost, schedule, and quality standards.

The Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering disciplines with 3-5 years of experience.
• Good knowledge of all disciplines, including Process Technical knowledge.
• Proficiency in Basic Design and P&ID.
• Knowledge of project management fundamentals, front-end engineering, and relevant project planning and scheduling tools.
• Solid track record in EPC Project Management in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industry.
• Effective team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation, technical, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to initiate plans and carry out assignments professionally and diligently in accordance with established company procedures.
• Proven leadership and management skills.
• Proven interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Additional Requirement:

• Must have EPC experience in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industry.
