Job Responsibilities:
· This role leads supply and demand planning activity within the SEA sub region, ensuring the business meets all agreed customer service targets at lowest possible minimal operating cost through stock level optimisation. It is focused on using effective, data-driven analytics to provide insight and recommendations to internal and external all supply chain partners
· Defines appropriate planning categories for the varied portfolio of SKUs; defines and implements the core demand modelling toolkit; trains and develops colleagues in the use of core methodology, ensuring consistency of approach
· Generates regular and timely trend analyses, insights and business recommendations, feeding these into the local sales and operational planning process to drive optimum availability
· Communicates demand information to a range of internal and external stakeholders, including internal and third part manufacturing partners
· Defines the supply planning approach for internal and external third-party suppliers to a significant region; determines the appropriate planning and modelling approach and toolkit; trains Supply planners within the region to use and interpret these tools
· Carries out regular and timely risk assessment for the demand and supply planning function; identifies, manages and mitigates demand related business risk effectively and appropriately
· Manages day to day delivery of relevant information into the S&OP process and to relevant suppliers (internal and third party)
· Monitors, reviews, and highlights any gaps in the performance of a portfolio of suppliers; recommends improvements by suppliers to better meet demand requirements; makes recommendations to the business to support effective contract negotiation or change contract/supplier
· Manages the regional S&OP process, monitoring and revising production and sourcing plans to optimise materials supply and production
· Collects and analyses the key cost drivers, market dynamics and issues, areas of innovation and alternative suppliers for Supply Chain
· Reviews existing operations in own area of work and implements innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure continuous improvements are delivered
· Resolves queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and related policies, referring to others where necessary for interpretation of policy
· Contributes to stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs, issues and concerns, and reacting to these by creating and conveying information to promote understanding and commitment
· Uses formal development framework to identify the team's individual development needs; plans and implements actions to build their capabilities; provides training or coaching to others throughout the organisation in own area of expertise to enable others to improve performance and fulfil personal potential
· Any other tasks/duties as assigned by the Company from time to time
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering or related field
· Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Planning function
· Strong leadership skills and ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
· Advanced MS Excel and any other MRP system capabilities preferred
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
· Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
