We are looking for a Sales Executive/Engineer to drive the sales of electronic components for our client a leading regional Electronics Components distributor. You will manage existing client relationships while expanding our customer base from multinational corporations to small and medium enterprises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver compelling technical presentations on our products and services to customers.
- Collaborate with sales teams to assess customer requirements and provide effective sales support.
- Generate high-quality sales leads, follow up on initial contacts, secure and renew orders, negotiate pricing, and coordinate deliveries.
- Research and recommend products that align with customer needs.
- Gather and analyze client feedback to develop targeted sales and marketing strategies.
- Identify areas for improvement and communicate these insights, along with potential solutions, to management.
- Prepare detailed quotations and submit technical and sales reports.
- Set and achieve ambitious sales goals and quotas.
- Travel regionally for business as needed.
Requirements:
- A degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales within the electronics or semiconductor components industry, ideally with semiconductor distribution.
- Strong understanding of the local and regional electronics market, from multinational companies to SMEs.
- A personable demeanor with a patient approach to customer interactions.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service, and sales skills.
- Ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences effectively.
- Confident negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to meeting company goals.
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities.
